Former student at Kingston College of Art and son of celebrated artist Frank Archer RWS RE (1912-1995) Reuben Archer returns to the sphere of fine arts with his brand new collection of automotive-themed watercolour paintings.
Over a highly creative and varied sixty-year career, Reuben served in the Merchant Navy before taking roles as both Art Editor for Auto Enthusiast Magazine and publisher of Fast Car Magazine in the 70s. He then signed to Polydor Records with his rock band Stampede for two albums and an EP in the early 80s before starting his own graphic design company, with which he still oversees the designs of prestigious exhibitions and in-store studios worldwide today.
Now, fusing his passion for fine art with his love of cars, Reuben celebrates his return to painting with the launch of his new watercolour collection.
